Fabric and Yarn

I enjoy every day crafting from pretty much everything. I am far way from being a professional in what I do, and most of my projects are "I see - I like - I try to do myself". Especially, when it comes to sewing and knitting (crocheting in still not in my skills, but I intend to correct that soon :), but I am more than happy to share what I am able to do. And hopefully you will find it inspirational.

Tricot yarn crocheted basket

Sometimes late birthday gifts can turn out pretty wonderful and inspiring, especially if you make them yourself for someone you love and respect.

So did this late project of mine - a tricot yarn crocheted basket, that made someone smile.

Recycle, grow, knit...

It is spring! Although in Finland we might need to wait a bit more to actually feel it. So, while waiting for it, I decided to encourage its appearance at our home by recycling old tin cans and turning them into lovely knitted pots.

Paper Straw Yarn Crocheted Basket

Every day I learn something new. This time is was a surprisingly easy and lovely way to crochet baskets.
This project will show you how to crochet your own basket from paper straw yarn.

DIY baby pocket bib

What else can make you smile more than a child's excitement when you make something for him/her?

The purpose of this post us to share the excitement of my 1,8 years old daughter when I made this bib for her (and one her bunny).

Easy decoration for kids' clothing

We all have plain T-shirts that simply beg for extra decoration, especially kids' pieces of clothing.

So again an easy project that will make your kids happy with their plain T-shirts.
