About me

I am a mother, a daughter, a grand daughter, a daughter-in-law, a wife, an expat, and may be there are some more few other social tags you can give me. And yes they are important, but not as important as the ones above, which probably define me and my interest in crafts the most.

It's not easy to write shortly about yourself, without getting too much into details. However very shortly, I was born in Bulgaria, but somehow Finland chose to be my home country. I have a long love affair with English language, which is why I prefer to blog in English, but may be some day I will share a post or two in either Bulgarian or Finnish. However, do not be surprised, when looking at my crafts you see other languages than English. I craft for any occasion for all my friends, and according to the main language we speak, the message can be in Bulgarian (which letters are Cyrillic), Finnish or English.

My passion, as a  grown up woman, for cutting small pieces of paper and gluing them together was rediscovered accidentally, while my husband and I were planning our wedding. Although, not the most patient person, it turned out that I can sit for hours and design a card; first in my head then finding the most appropriated materials, to making the card itself. And Gosh, yes - it is a card at the end of the day. But it's a card I've made thinking about the person I will give it to and I've put all my best wishes, all my nicest thoughts and warmest feelings for that person. It's a personal card, carrying personal message, made exclusively for my friend to make her/him smile.

I do hope that the reader will find here some inspiration for her/his projects. All designs are free to be used, and I will be glad if you refer to my blog, but if not, it will anyway make me happy if I have managed to inspire anyone.

Thank you for being with me,

Polina

P.S. The title of my blog comes from my husband, who very lovingly calls me a "lovely little turtle" :). I would also like to thank ShabbyBlogs for the wonderful blog header.
